Sleepaway Camp (1983) – A celebration of the slasher classic will feature not only the film, but a live show and special guests before and afterword and being billed as the “Midnight Mass” event.

The Third Man (1950) – One of Roger Ebert’s favorite films, this Orson Welles classic looks great in 4K and the images still hit all this time later. Slow but rewarding.

The Fountain (2006) – I love Darren Aronofsky’s ambitious film, and this screening will be heightened by a musical performance presented by the Dallas Ambient Music Nights.

I Shot Andy Warhol (1996) – Lili Taylor portrays the woman who tried to kill Andy Warhol in 1968. Directed by Mary Harron, the film is one of those underseen 90’s indie films featuring great performances and being rediscovered in 4K restoration screenings around the country.
Screens on Sunday July 5th
The American Astronaut (2001) – Very low budget, grainy black and white…. I remember this film being the sensation of Sundance and other film festivals that year. I honestly don’t remember much more than that. Celebrates a 25 year anniversary.
Screens on Monday July 6th
The Terminator (1984) – Screens on Tuesday July 7th
Coneheads (1992) – Alongside It’s Pat!, maybe the weirdest Saturday Night Live film offshoot?
Screens on Tuesday July 8th
Excalibur (1981) – I went on a John Boorman quick several years ago and tracked down everything he did. This tale of King Arthur is an out-there exploration of the myth.

The Faculty (1998) – Flimsy 1990’s teen horror (although it boasts a stacked cast). And directed by Robert Rodriguez.
