Malcolm X (1992) – Spike Lee’s masterpiece screens on Sunday August 17th
Bloody Moon (1981) – I have this in my Tubi queue right now. It probably will look much better on the big screen. A film by the prolific Jess Franco, who oscillated between hardcore films and more respectable fare.

Hackers (1995) – I don’t hold this 1990’s film in quite in the same regard as many. Still a fun watch however.

Frailty (2002) – I haven’t seen it since its initial release, but Bill Paxton’s directorial debut was well made and dense.
